A few Photos from a GORGEOUS summer wedding we designed a few months ago.

Colors: Soft pinks, creams, butter yellow and bridal white made up the floral pallette.

Style: Romantinc 1920’s, Cameos, Lace

Designer Bits: The Brides dress was amazing. She designer herself and her AMAZING family played the part of seamstress. It was impeccable and fit the bride beautifully.

Note to the Bride— Thank you so much for your amazing planning and ideas. Even though the planning was mostly done via email and over the phone I still felt like I got to know you on a personal level, and what you liked and disliked. The positive feedback, detailed descriptions and photos that you collected for me REALLY helped during the designing process and I hope you were pleased with everything . Thank again! Introducing our NEWEST NOVEMBER Bride Jennifer...

We are so excited to be working with Jennifer. She is getting married in November at ENTRADA COUNTRY Club, and I am really excited about the color palette she is leaning toward. With her event being in November it is easy for brides to stick with the darker FALL colors schemes. Event though I love the deep rich colors of the season I was really excited when Jennifer said she wanted to use a cobalt blue and shades of orange for her colors. My mind immediately began reeling on the ideas and possibilities. Jennifer knew that she wanted to use calla lilies as one of the main flowers, because they were gorgeous, unique and had a presence all there own. She definetley leans toward the cleaner more modern look, but wanted to use the orange as stability, and the blue as the “accent surprise” Below is the “STYLE FILE” that I have been working on for her. I am sure we will still have some teaking to do, but overall i feel really good about the details we talked about, and know that it will turn out gorgeous!

A New Shlew of Amazing Brides!!!

Well it was an extremely busy week! We had 6 consults this week and so many amazing color themes and styles, themes and ideas that I running through right now. I am so excited to get going on the color swatches, and Client Style Files. I hope they will be up by the end of the weekend, so check back. Congratulations Kiley & Ryan! September 2009

We want to send out a very special congratulations to Kiley & Ryan! A fabulous couple that is on our calendar in September. The Bride is a woman after my own heart. She is adorable and meticulous, and brought a beautiful bridal binder that i would love to swipe from her (if it wasn’t socially unacceptable- tee hee)

Their romantic color palate will incorporate Soft Pinks, Dusty Rose, Ivory and accents of Pewter. For Their Flowers they have chosen billowy peonies, garden roses, ranunculus, lisianthus and freesia. By using full, petal heavy blooms in clean structured arrangements, we can create a balanced fusion that’s Modern yet ROMANTIC in shape and style.

The Bride has also requested several CUSTOM items from CoCo’s CHIC BOUTIQUE.

For the Bride: We will be designing a WEDGE styled BIRDCAGE VEIL with matching floral clip (fascinator) that can be worn separately during the Reception.

For the Brides “ladies-in-waiting” we will be making VICTORIAN CUFFS & CLIPS, and the Mothers will wear Jeweled Orchid CORSAGES on their wrists. They are delicately attached to Ivory Pearl Bracelets which keep their dresses *pin-hole free* and will provide them with a beautiful lasting keepsake from the Bride & Groom.

We are so excited to be a part of this event. The Bride is adorable, and the details she has planned will hold the attention of their guests and loved-ones. From Dresses designed and created by the Bride and her family, to Her inspiration to match the LACE details on the cake with the delicate lace on the Brides wedding dress…she really hasn’t missed a single detail. I am so excited to be a part of this event, and can’t wait to see all of the beautiful details come together.
